Firstly it's an easy test providing you know what you need to write....so...

• Check out top tips post below

• Scroll down further and try the test paper - pay attention to question 4 in particular

• Question 4 is like a model answer - so if you can change this and add details about yourself then that's your answer for tomorrow almost done.

• REMEBER FOR A LEVEL 5 ASK A QUESTION (ET TOI? TU AS UN ANIMAL? TU AIMES LES MATHS? ETC) AND INCLUDE A FEW EGS OF THE FUTURE TENSE EG JE VAIS JOUER AU TENNIS ET CE SERA SUPER.

Year 7 and 8 Writing test technique - TOP TIPS!

Test technique

1)          Stick to what you know – don’t try to invent words or ways of saying things.

2)       Look back over your work – practise the things you’ve had trouble with in the past.

3)       Vary how you say things – j’aime la musique; la natation, j’aime ça.

4)       Use connectives to extend your sentences: j’aime le sport mais je déteste l’informatique.  Je vais au parc parce que j’aime le skate.

5)       Watch out for common mistakes – “je” has a little “j”; ça ; la danse.

6)       Read over your work to check for missing words, letters or accents.

Use the example from today's lesson and pay careful attention to the section on the FUTURE tense.  More marks will be awarded for asking a question(s) and using CONNECTIVES (et, mais, car).
